Due to their growth trajectory and market activity, we are now seeking a capable and commercially astute Civil Estimator to help continue their success.  

As the Civil Estimator you will be required to the business in delivering successful projects by providing accurate cost estimates, managing risks, fostering client relationships, and driving innovation in project execution.

To ensure success, you will be required to undertake the following tasks and duties:

  • Meticulously prepare project estimates and budgets for diverse civil scopes of works.
  • Review contract and tender documents with precision.
  • Generate accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from first principles.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with clients and suppliers for favourable financial outcomes.
  • Develop and communicate innovative methodologies and strategies to the construction team.
  • Ensure successful handover of tenders to the project team.

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Civil Estimator
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Exceptional accuracy and analytical reporting skills.
    • High-level understanding of technical and commercial requirements in the estimating/tender submission process
    • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently or within a team.
    • Strong ability to identify and manage risks and resolve problems at a project level.
